Parts of Speech

  • Verb: Expresses an action or state of being (e.g., run, jump, think, be)

  • Preposition: Shows the relationship between words (e.g., in, on, at, with)
  • Conjunction: Joins words, phrases, or clauses (e.g., and, but, or, because)
